2014 Billboard Music Awards: Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea take on ‘Fancy,’ ‘Problem’
The biggest selling point for Azalea in particular through these two performances was how clear it was that she was rapping without any backup track or music drowning her out. There are so many rap performances in particular that are helped on awards shows with either backing tracks or somebody else basically serving as the music version of a seat-filler.
It also probably helped her mightily that “Fancy” and “Problem” are both songs that are still on the way up, and if this were a few weeks from now, then it would be very much possible that some people would be tired of them. We’re not at that point yet, so they are still exciting.
From a TV standpoint, we are still interested in finding out whether or not Grande is going to go back to her Nickelodeon show “Sam & Cat” after all this. It must be hard, given that she probably feels indebted to the show for her success, while at the same time there are so many other opportunities out there for her now.

I don’t mean to be offensive or perverted or anything but their skirts were so short I’m pretty sure they flashed us a few times.
