‘Dancing With The Stars’ season 18 finale review: Did Amy Purdy, James Maslow or Meryl Davis win?

It has been such a fun season of “Dancing with the Stars” that it’s hard to believe that the end is already here! Where has the time gone?

As much fun as we’ve had this season, all good things must come to an end and with that we have the finale for season 18 tonight. We have some great dancers in the final four and we can’t say that we are tremendously surprised by who made it to the end:  James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd, Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Candice Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas and Amy Purdy and Derek Hough.

We love Maks and would love to see him finally take home a win after so many seasons on the show, but when you’ve got Mark Ballas and Derek Hough in the finals with you it’s hard to keep your spirits up. Both Mark and Derek have a few “Dancing with the Stars” wins under their belts and that would make anyone competing against them nervous.

We know you want to hear about who won this season and have some great debates about whether or not they deserved the win, so let’s not bury the lead any further and get right to the good stuff. The winner of “Dancing with the Stars” season 18 is Maks and Meryl making this Maks very first mirror ball trophy win! We couldn’t be more excited for them and after so many almost wins for Maks we really feel that he deserved this.
