‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11: Suggestions for Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey series

The latest -Tonight, “Grey’s Anatomy” will come to a close for the season, and with an emotional hour that will serve as a proper goodbye to Sandra Oh and her character of Cristina Yang.

However, there is still a future for the series as a whole, and that is what this article is all about: A look ahead! There are at least another 24 episodes coming up, and there could be more after that given that Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Sempsey each have deals that go all the way to season 12. At this point, it feels like that may be the better end date since it gives you more opportunities to see the characters move forward without Cristina, and then say goodbye.

The purpose of this article is simple: Sharing some suggestions, and possible ones based on what we have seen so far, for what could happen on the show the rest of the way.

1. More Amelia – This one feels very possible at this point. Caterina Scorsone wants to be back on the show for another season in a larger capacity, and they will need a new friend for Meredith. Everything could align here.

2. Keep Alex at the practice – There are still ways to implement his character in the hospital without him working there full time. Everyone should not keep turning down other jobs to stay! This doesn’t happen in real life.

3. Less of Bailey having trouble at work – Seriously, this has been her story the past two years at this time. Let’s mix it up a little bit.

4. Some new faces – With Leah and Shane leaving the show, the door is open for someone to enter the fold, possibly from the intern standpoint. Let’s just hope that they are more interesting than these interns were at first. Jo was the one one who stood out at first.
