NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 2, episode 22 (series finale) spoilers: ‘Declaration of Independence’
In just a matter of a week from today, the end of the road is going to be here for “Revolution” … and to go along with that now, we have some of the first details for the big finale.
This big episode is entitled “Declaration of Independence,” and it you want to get some more news on what to expect during it, just look at the official synopsis via NBC below:
“Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.”
Now that we know that this is the series finale airing next week rather than the season finale, there are of course many questions that we have for now. Is there special accommodations being made for that? The only way that we can answer it is that the writers and producers have known that this was a possibility for a while. Therefore, they were prepared in the event that this was the last episode of the show. There were also, though, some dangling threads in here just in case the show got renewed, so you will unfortunately have to deal with some of the frustrations that go along with that, as well. (It’s just a part of this world, unfortunately, when you cannot know your fate in advance.)

It’s probably time. Having said that, I would have liked a little more run-up to a series finale.
