‘Glee’ season 6: What we know about Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera’s future
For any and all fans of “Glee,” the end of season 5 is just about here courtesy of the season finale that is airing on Fox Tuesday night. What will happen? We would just say to expect some surprises, a possible cliffhanger, and some odds and ends that could end up changing the setting for the show completely.
Here are some things that we definitely do expect to be addressed either in the finale tonight, or in the summer as we prepare for the launch of season 6.
1. Santana’s future addressed – Is Naya Rivera leaving, or not? There have been reports all over the place, and with her not reportedly in the finale, this needs to be figured out.
2. What the cast will be – Presumably, the show is not done with Matthew Morrison or Jane Lynch, but there will need to be a way to utilize them properly without giving us too much in an unrealistic way.
3. Something real – We don’t need anything that is cheesy, or shows the dreams of everyone coming true right away. For Chris Colfer’s Kurt, for example, it is okay if he has to work hard to get what he wants out of this life.
4. A time jump – At this point, the show needs a pretty big move forward so that there is distance from the glee club.
5. Episodic structures – This is more of a personal thing, but we would enjoy the show moving into a structure similar to what we saw with the final season of “Private Practice,” where almost every story was in a way about one or two people, and you saw what their life could be. This show is about the characters, so don’t they all deserve a little extra time in the limelight?

I know it is a TV show about kids with big dreams but they all seem to make there dreams come true too easily. Also dreams change without explanation. I remember when Rachel told Finn when he suggested they move to LA. “I am a Broadway actress” and now she is dying to be on TV. She did not have to play Fanny for years, but as beginner she could have stuck it out for year. Rachel’s moving to TV is more of series ending story.
I would like to see Kurt and Blaine get married, Kurt discover what he really would like to do for the rest of his life (band, broadway, design).
Where the other main characters end up.
Santana/Brittany – do they end up together and where and doing what. Santana is also lost like Kurt jumping from career idea to idea. I would like when this show is over to feel good about the ending and not cheated by the writers and the network.
