‘NCIS’ season 11, episode 22 preview: Michael Weatherly’s Tony runs into trouble

More news -On the surface, the mission that Agent DiNozzo has on Tuesday night’s “NCIS” season 11 episode is not exactly that difficult: Bringing the daughter of a U.S. Admiral back to America from France. However, did you really think that things would be this easy? If this was the TV equivalent of a fetch quest from a video game, we don’t quite feel like it would be something shown to us.

Anyway, Tony prepares for this mission in the sort of way that you would expect anyone to … with a stroll around a cafe and also some danishes. He couldn’t have accounted for the fact that there would be guys with guns waiting to make this mission a heck of a lot harder for him than he thought it would be going in.

From this point on, the mission will become more of a team effort as the other members of the crew are going to work to try and ensure that Michael Weatherly’s character gets extracted with the young woman without any sort of further problems. Expect some action in here, and mostly a chance for Tony to do some stuff that he hasn’t had a chance to do in a while. Early buzz from the cast is strong on this one, and it will carry over to the emotional finale that is more of a trouble to Ralph Waite.

The only real issue that we have with this preview could be a logical one, i.e. that we’ve spent way too much time trying to figure out how it would be daytime in both places given that there is a six-hour difference. Our easy explanation is mostly just that Tony must be trying to accomplish his mission in the late afternoon, while Gibbs and company are doing work at around 10:00 a.m. their time.
