NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 2 spoilers: Tracy Spiridakos on Charlie, Connor’s future
Over the course of “Revolution” season 2, Charlie, like many of the show’s other characters, has been on quite the bizarre emotional journey. We’ve seen her struggle to figure out her identity, have what we guess you could call a romance with Connor, and also seen the beginning of some sort of campaign by fans to get her together with Monroe. (We didn’t see that one coming in the early days of the show.)
But moving forward the next few weeks, the death of Jason could be one of the things that has the greatest impact on her. Could this actually change her relationship ahead with Connor? While Tracy Spiridakos wasn’t able to share details on everything that is coming up, she did pass along the following detail to TVLine:
“There are a lot of different moments that happen between her and Connor going forward. You see their relationship evolve in a different way based on what’s happened, and I won’t say which way it goes. But you see, throughout the rest of the season, how it unfolds and why.”
As we’ve said a number of times already, we just hope that however this story ends will be able to satisfy. There’s no word yet on a renewal or a cancellation, but it’s leaning heavily towards the latter thanks to some of the show’s recent ratings. NBC has a crop of new dramas that they are working on producing now, and they have found more success in the semi-procedural avenue with shows like “Chicago Fire” and “The Blacklist,” which give you a little bit of both words rather than just one without the other.
