ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ episode 7 preview: Jacob goes missing
After a week off of the air, ABC’s “Resurrection” returns on Sunday night with an episode that poses one simple question: Is Jacob getting set to meet the same exact fate as Caleb Richards?
This is something that the sneak peek below especially explores, as the revelation is made that the child has gone missing after his parents thought that he was safely in his room. This leads of course to a search, which includes them going back to the same soccer fields that they previous were at earlier this season where Caleb appeared.
In this case, we rather hope that Jacob is not being hit with the same exact fate as Caleb … and we also hope that there are a few more answers mixed in here as well. If this really is not the end of the series next week, we should at least get some direction as to where they are going, and what these new visitors really mean.
What are the big theories out there? Aliens are easily the one at the top of the list, since it makes sense that they would be able to synthesize some sort of human life-form that extracts the memories of the dead in order to sort of blend in. It also makes sense why they would get some parts of the physiology wrong, including them returnees having to eat almost constantly and their failure to get almost any sleep at all. There are interesting questions still unanswered, with the biggest one being why most of the characters are so coy about what happened right when they returned.
