‘Game of Thrones’ season 4, episode 4 preview: Emilia Clarke, Kit Harrington photo teases
Sunday night’s “Game of Thrones” is entitled “Oathkeeper,” though based on some of the new photos that we have for the episode, it feels like some of the characters are going to have more important things to do beyond just sitting around and worrying about keeping oaths and making new ones.
In particular, Jon Snow has quite a bit to worry himself over. Kit Harrington’s character knows that the Wildings are coming, and he has to find a way to prepare for that. The unfortunate part of this is that despite whatever knowledge he has, there are not very many other people out there who seem to be particularly interested in hearing what he has to say. This means that they are in big trouble, and despite how awesome Jon may look with a sword, we cannot imagine that it is going to help him very much. This does, however, seem to go along with the comments from him that this could be one of the most action-packed seasons of the show yet.
Meanwhile, Danaerys has her own problems to take care of, with the biggest one being trying to find out how to actually be a proper conqueror to the people of Meereen. So far, most of her conquests have actually not been that difficult, and have been based mostly on her attempts to rely on the slaves of the city to rise up. What happens when this doesn’t happen so easily, and there are setbacks in her plan? The episodes the rest of the way are going to cause her more problems than she has really had since the first season of the show.
