‘The Mentalist’ season 6, episode 19 preview: Simon Baker’s surprise in ‘Brown Eyed Girls’
“The Mentalist” is slowly reeling us in to getting answers when it comes to Jane and Lisbon’s relationship, and next week’s “Brown Eyed Girls” may be another step on that journey. However, at the same time it looks as though the show is going to continue taking a long route to get there.
For example, next week looks to actually have one of the most emotional cases we’ve seen in some time courtesy of a smuggling ring, and Jane could struggle to figure out its origins and how to stop it. Not only that, but cases of this horrific nature tend to bring out emotions in everyone, whether you are talking about Lisbon, Fishcer, or Abbott. You can take a look at the full synopsis for the episode below:
“A chance encounter with a suspicious-looking individual leads Jane and Lisbon to uncover a vast human smuggling ring. Meanwhile, Lisbon remains tempted by Pike’s offer to move to D.C. with him.”
So unfortunately, this synopsis does not really succeed in saying anything other than some stuff that you already knew either based on the promo below, or the events that actually transpired in the episode tonight. Lisbon hasn’t seemed to make her mind yet regarding what Pike offered, and the question you really have to ponder right now is simple: Is moving to DC to be with this man something that is really that she wants to do, or is she waiting for Jane to make a move? Hopefully, we’ll get a big reveal soon by her that this is happening, and he will then take advantage of the opportunity to convince her to stay.
What do you think Lisbon’s going to do next week with her information? We welcome all your theories below, and head over here to read our full take on tonight’s “Forest Green.” Also, be sure to sign up for additional updates from our CarterMatt Newsletter.

The case distracts her from making any serious thought on the subject at first, and then at the end of it, based on what I’ve heard, she decides to move with Pike to DC.
Jane may attempt to tell her how he feels, but if Lisbon is happy then he will let her go no matter how he feels about her.
