‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5 spoilers: What you’ll be waiting until season 6 to see

More scoop -It is the words that most “NCIS: Los Angeles” fans may not want to hear, but it’s still something that we have to share with you now: The reality that you could be waiting for a while longer to see whether or Deeks and Kensi really make a go of things as a couple.

According to a report from TV Guide, a relationship between the two characters will probably not be touched on fully until next season, which means that some insufferable waiting could happen soon. The good news? It at least feels like we have almost reached the point of no return with them. It is going to be very, very hard (almost impossible) for them to be able to go back to normal now and act like there is no history between the two of them at all. This doesn’t feel like one of those things where you can just close your eyes, and then suddenly it is 2017 and the two characters have still not really explored the romantic side of their relationship yet.

Well, we at least have the reveal that the box actually holds another box, right? “NCIS: Los Angeles” seems to be subscribing to the classic TV role of “keep people waiting as long as possible.” Here’s the obvious concern that we have with that: Most original TV contracts only run for six or seven years, and while we don’t want to be the CNN of TV news here and incite panic sometimes even when there is no reason to, the “NCIS” – Tony / Ziva situation has us worried. We feel the same way sometimes about Jane and Lisbon on “The Mentalist,” but that’s a little different since that show is facing cancellation.

We will have more “NCIS: Los Angeles” updates very soon, so be on the lookout for those! Also, sign up to get even more TV scoop on all we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
