‘NCIS’ season 11, episode 22 preview: ‘Shooter,’ and helping the homeless

Shooter -What is coming up next on “NCIS“? Well, the first thing to remember here is that you’re not going to get a new episode of the show next week. “Shooter” is the next new installment on April 29, and it will address yet another issue that does impact members of the military right now: Homelessness.

You can see the first photo from the episode above, even though it doesn’t quite show McGee (Sean Murray) or Bishop (Emily Wickersham) doing anything that is that interesting beyond standing in what doesn’t look to be one of the friendliest streets in town. If you want to get some more updates beyond that, our suggestion is to take a look below:

“When a Marine photographer disappears prior to providing his testimony in an Army court-martial hearing, the NCIS team investigates both the murder he witnessed as well as his current piece on military veterans who are homeless in the D.C. area. Meanwhile, Abby tries to help a young homeless woman reconnect with her family.”

As we’ve said in the past, we are most interested in finding out more about what is happening with Abby here, given that she has not had nearly enough time in the spotlight lately. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come in season 12, where we’d like to see her have some sort of extensive story in the fall. (Unfortunately, it’s far too early at the moment to know whether or not that is actually going to happen. Come to us over the course of the summer.)
