‘The Tomorrow People’ episode 19 preview: Boss on Stephen / Hillary, Russell story

The Tomorrow People -The best part of the new “Tomorrow People” preview that we have for you below may be at the very beginning, when executive producer Phil Klemmer jokes that his primary goal for the episode was to find the most pretentious episode title possible. Luckily for him, he feels like he succeeded and then some.

So what about the rest of the story? Klemmer has another great joke (we almost feel like he could be a good source of comic relief on the show itself) about the new relationship between Stephen and Hillary (Alexa Vega, still far removed from “Spy Kids”), and then goes into Cara and Astrid teaming up in a way to warn them. We like this, mostly because it gets Astrid involved in the story, and brings back the notion that there are more feelings that are there than she is willing to show.

As for some other storylines to expect Monday night, there will be more of the odd, interesting dynamic between Jon and Jedikiah, and a Russell story where we get a better chance to see what happens when he and The Founder collide in interesting ways. All of this has the potential to be great TV, or at least to build on a solid foundation. It took “The Tomorrow People” a long time to get things established, but now that they have, we’re more than interested in what could be coming the rest of the way.
