‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 15 spoilers: Ann Curry, Geraldo Rivera, more to guest

Law & Order: SVU logoNow that we’ve made it through the love-it-or-hate-it saga regarding William Lewis on “Law & Order: SVU,” we can now see the show shift back somewhat to the series that we’ve come to know and love for many years, which is primary about Olivia Benson and the Special Victims Unit tracking down the bad guys. Granted, most of these cases are a little more complicated than that.

One of these cases in particular may be the upcoming episode of this season entitled “Reasonable Doubt,” and we have a little more information now on what lies ahead. According to TV Guide, Bradley Whitford of “The West Wing” is set to guest-star in this hour in the role of Frank Maddox, a television producer who gets accused by his estranged wife Catherine of molesting the couple’s daughter. However, when it comes to the actual investigation, Catherine is not too cooperative, which in turn leads the SVU team to start to wonder whether or not she was simply trying to use the accusations in order to try and gain favor with the public during a media firestorm.

There are also two other pair of high-profile guest stars appearing in this hour, as both Ann Curry and Geraldo Rivera are appearing as themselves. We have to figure that the two see this gig as a win, mostly because there are few other shows out there that have that sort of legendary air about them as the “Law & Order” franchise. If there is a show to guest-star on as yourself and you’re a New York personality, this is it.
