‘The Good Wife’ season 5 spoilers: First details on Michael J. Fox’s return

Good Wife -The last time that Michael J. Fox made an appearance on “The Good Wife,” the show was a very different world. Florrick / Argos and Lochart / Gardner were not separate firms, and Will was also still among the living. So when the character returns to the show for the April 20 episode entitled “All Tapped Out,” it’s likely that he has some significant catching up to do.

So are you wondering why now is the time that we are seeing Fox’s Louis Canning pay a visit the world of the series? All you need to do to find out is look below at what the official synopsis from CBS has to say:

“Florrick/Agos takes on the case of an NSA whistleblower, only to learn that the agency has been monitoring the firm as well as Alicia’s personal life. Meanwhile, Diane faces the difficult task of working alongside Louis Canning when he joins Lockhart/Gardner. Also, Alicia goes after the State’s Attorney when he attempts to make Finn a scapegoat in the Jeffrey Grant case.”

Are we excited to see more of Mike on the show? Definitely, but the real test of this story is how they are going to work him into this given everything else that we know is going on right now. “The Good Wife” has never been so busy when it comes to plotlines, given that you have the aftermath of Will’s death still playing out, and recent teasers suggested that it is possible that Alicia and Cary’s firm could decide to go back to Lockhart / Gardner in the wake of all that is happening. Let’s just hope that Fox finds a way in here when the show returns a week from Sunday without making the story feel too cluttered.
