‘The Amazing Race 24’ episode 7 preview: A journey for recovery in Italy

The Amazing Race -Tonight’s new episode of “The Amazing Race 24” was in the end rather uneventful. The first twenty minutes or so were spent with challenges and train rides that really did not matter much, since none of it mattered with the outcome. In the end, country singers Caroline & Jennifer were the ones in last place, even though they really did not do very much wrong. Their only mistake was being just a hair slower than some of the other teams in their tasks.

So can they really recover for the next episode in two weeks in Rome, Italy? It’s going to be pretty hard for them, thanks mostly to the fact that there is also a Speed Bump that they are going to have to complete. The one good bit of news for them is that there appear to be a number of challenges of the “extremely difficult” variety coming up, and this could set up one of the biggest footraces ever.

Also, here are a couple of other theories that we are conjuring up right now.

1. Is there a Fast Forward in this leg? We see Leo & Jamal doing something that none of the other teams are working on, and then they are not featured in the footrace at the end. There is typically one of these a season, and we haven’t seen one yet.

2. What about a U-Turn? We’re actually starting to wonder if there was one that happened earlier in the season, it may have been edited out since either no one used it, or its results didn’t matter. That has happened before.

What do you want to see from “The Amazing Race” next, and do you think there is any way that the country singers can recover from some of what they’ve been going through as of late?
