‘How I Met Your Mother’ series finale: Cobie Smulders, cast reflect on favorite moments

“How I Met Your Mother” fans, the moment is almost finally here: The end of Ted Mosby’s journey. This has been one of the longer, more enjoyable stories that we have ever been on with a sitcom, especially one that makes you laugh and cry almost in succession.

The the video below, you can see the likes of Cobie Smulders (Robin), Alyson Hannigan (Lily), and the rest of the cast reflect on some of their favorite moments. For example, Neil Patrick Harris talks about his love of the 100th episode, and Hannigan talks about a few specific quotes that she loves to say as Lily time and time again.

For us, we personally find ourselves torn when it comes to sharing what our personal favorite moments. There were many hilarious little bits from the show (the slap bet, the goat, the Slutty Pumpkin, Desperation Day, laser tag, Robots vs. Wrestlers, and so many more). We don’t remember those episodes so much as we do the individual moments. The episodes that we remember are more of the emotional ones, whether you are talking about “Bad News” (the story leading up to the death of Marshall’s dad), “The Leap,” and of course the recent “The End of the Aisle.” The real truth here is that if we were to sit back and watch many of these episodes back now, we would almost certainly find new moments and favorites that we have either forgotten about over the years, or that have just fallen under the radar.
