Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars” episode is going to be a big one for so many reasons. For one, we are getting to that revolutionary time in which we are actually going to see contestants swap out professional partners for the first time ever. We’re both excited and also terrified on how this will work, and we’ll be watching intensely to see in the coming weeks.
Also, this is the episode where “Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts is going to be appearing for the first time as a guest judge. We’re a little less thrilled for this. Robin is an inspiration and a great TV personality, but she’s not a dancer. They may as well hire us to be a judge if they are looking to have someone on the basis of them just watching the show.
As for who is going to be dancing what, take a look at the full spoilers below.
Danica McKellar and Val Chmerkovskiy – Contemporary.
Cody Simpson and Witney Carson – Jazz.
NeNe Leakes and Tony Dovolani – Rumba.
James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd – Jive.
Drew Carey and Cheryl Burke – Waltz.
Candice Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas – Jive.
Meryl David and Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Foxtrot.
Amy Purdy and Derek Hough – Contemporary.
Charlie White and Sharna Burgess – Jive.
Billy Dee Williams and Emma Slater – Waltz.
The two that benefit the most from these songs choices right now are probably Billy Dee and Drew, since they are the older competitors and the latter needs something where he can focus on the emotion more so than some of the individual steps. (Then again, we also still think that the “Star Wars” actor is going to be sent home at the end of the show Monday.)
