‘The Blacklist’ episode 18 preview: New ‘Milton Bobbit’ details; casting news

The Blacklist logo any seasonOn Monday night, “The Blacklist” will find yet another way to amp up the drama, and it’s pretty easy to know why. For the first time ever, we are going to have an opportunity to see Liz Keen firmly not on the same page as her husband Tom. She actually knows his secret now, and will do whatever she can to ensure that he is stopped. That includes pretending to be a loving wife for a while.

You will continue to see some of that play out for a while, especially given that the promo for Monday’s “Milton Bobbit” showed that there is a vow renewal ceremony coming up in the near future. Also, the promotional photo above features Liz’s mission this week taking her into the realm of politics, which is probably not an easy place to be given that almost everyone within there is either lying or telling the truth. How are you able to figure out who is honest?

Casting – Also, we thought you would like to know that per TV Guide, Linus Roache (“Vikings”) has signed on to the series in the role of “The Kingmaker.” While some details are sketchy, he is described as “an extremely dangerous and influential man with political ties around the world.” We would assume that the man is going to be the villain of the week for an upcoming episode, but given how many characters tend to have larger ties to Raymond Reddington than what it first appears to be, there could be something more to this guy still.
