‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: See Margo Harshman’s Delilah back on the job
Tuesday night marks the conclusion of the “NCIS” backdoor pilot for “New Orleans,” and hopefully at some point in the near future we will have some more news on whether or not that gets picked up. But in moving forward beyond that, the story will carry through to another important episode in “Page Not Found” that brings back one of the most interesting guest roles of the whole season: Margo Harshman’s Delilah.
The great thing about this character to us is that despite all that she has been through (which now apparently includes being paralyzed for the rest of her life), Delilah continues to stay a powerful and proactive person. She is not giving up on being an asset to her country or to NCIS, which makes her very important for a mission the team is working on as she returns to work.
In addition to more Delilah on the job, she is also (per the official synopsis at the link here) going to also have a larger story when it comes to her relationship with McGee. Hopefully, this includes in here more on whether or not the two of them can manage to be together long-term. We’d love to see this story play out for a while, and we’d even campaign for a promotion for Harshman to series regular if all parties involved are interested in it. She brings something different out of McGee, and adds a dimension to the show that was not there previously.
There are some important moments coming on this season beyond this episode, and you can read some more about those here. They include plans for an ambitious finale, and also a story that is going to place some of our characters, including Michael Weatherly’s Tony, in an unusual place.

Delilah, the only one who brings some ray of hope this season! This horrible Bishop character will ruin another episode though!
And now that Tony is no longer the focus of the finale or the focus of an episode NCIS is really no longer worth watching!
I’ve liked Mark Harmon for so many years but is he afraid of losing his leading status now?
What is this, that each and everything on NCIS must be about Gibbs with this awful Bishop right next to him?
Sorry to say that but Gibbs is an aging guy, fans love Tony and McGee too!
If it were up to me I would do everything to get Cote de Pablo back to NCIS before this Bishop disease infects each and every character around her leaving nothing but Zombies behind!

I like Delilah a lot, love her with the team. I don’t see much connection between her and McGee, and this season they have done nothing to help it. We have been tortured with Bishop most of the time. It’s truly a relief to see promo pictures with NO Bishop, and lots of McNozzo. That said, I bet it will get minimal screen time while Gibbs and Bishop hog it all.

Don’t get your hopes up. Those pictures all look to be from just one scene. Surely you know how tptb like to use the bait and switch technique where Tony is concerned. He’s all over the spoiler pictures, but only gets to do things like blather on about bubble baths and such in the episode while super Gibbs and his new second in command Bishop handle everything of significance.

Honestly – Have Tony and McGee changed bodies ? Tony is talking about bath beads ,casseroles and wedding planning and McGee is with the girl. At the risk of saying something unpopular (lol) I am not keen on Deliah and dare I say it – if Bishop had not of turned out to be such a horrible fit and garnered all the negative attention – Deliah might have ! Nothing at all to do with the wheelchair or her accident – but SHE is another know it all with bigger and better and brighter clearances than all THE THEAM put together – where did I hear that before? Perhaps it is time for me to give up this show – before they leave Tony on a Tarmack in France and all of us end up crying again !!!!

And people wonder why the ratings are dropping, everything revolves around Gibbs or Bishop, BORING.

Let’s see – the finale was going to be Tony centric but now it’s to be another Gibbs angst centric finale (how many in a row of those have we had now?). Then we had spoilers saying that Tony would be going to Paris instead for a one and done in the penultimate episode. Now according to this spoiler, Tony is simply to be “included” in the gang going to Paris, so I guess this episode isn’t really going to be particularly Tony centric at all. He’s probably going to provide the comic relief, perhaps doing imitations of Inspector Clouseau (sp?) while Gibbs and Bishop figure out all the puzzles, get all the action, and solve the case.

LOL. I agree with you, based on what we’ve seen this season, Tony will have nothing to do even on a Tony-centric ep- like 250 with senior. Glasberg is nothing if not predictable. And he is apparently somehow of the opinion that none of the other characters matter except for Gibbs and now Bishop.

I think he is intentionally pulling back on Tony – purely on MW’s obvious support of Cote. Glasberg is a nasty angry vindictive man – getting the nod from MH. Disgusting !!

I just think that to GG, Mark Harmon’s Gibbs is the only actor who matters, and Mark Harmon quite evidently wields a great deal of influence and power over the show. Ever since Mr. Harmon essentially got Don P. Bellasario ousted as show runner, Tony’s roll, screen time, and importance as a character have been severely diminished, not to mention the birth of idiot Tony, butt of all jokes, and universally distrusted and disrespected agent.. Coincidence?

They have definitely not only taken it out on Michael but on Rocky as well. I think he recently stated on Twitter that he has no idea if he will appear in any remaining episodes of this season and since he was not in the 250th Rocky he has also been punished. It has become pretty clear that if you do not toe the party line you will be shafted.

I have no idea why CBS has this love affair with Mark Harmon. I like him as an actor but he is really just an ensemble actor who has proven unable to carry the show this season which has seen the ratings plummet. I think it is pretty clear now that Cote and Michael were the lead actors.
I think it is clear that Glasberg is just a hack propped up by Harmon to get what he wants. As of next year Glasberg will be the longest running showrunner when he is nothing compared to the previous two. Ultimately it really is illustrative of why the show is declining ao steadily and ratings are dropping.

I don’t see a huge plummet, but they do seem to be declining slightly. This is a common in the spring, but I have to say that I am personally bored with Gibbs and Bishop getting all the most interesting action scenes, while Tony and Tim stand around looking busy in the office, or maybe if they’re really lucky, getting to go out in the field and interview someone. All tptb seem to worship at the altar of MH, and I don’t know – maybe he’s a real nice guy, but I feel that I’ve seen his acting range too many times to be even remotely psyched about another brooding Gibbs angst fest.

I like Harmon as an actor but I have never felt he has been able to transcend to another level like Michael (Truth or Consequences, Shiva) or Cote (Shabbat Shalom, Truth or Consequences). He has always given solid performances but never been able to give a truly great performance like Michael and Cote have been able to do. Therefore I just believe he is a good solid actor but not worthy of getting all the attention of the TPTB since as an actor he has never been able to be great even with all the attention that his character gets.
