‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Trouble for Chris Colfer’s Kurt; Whoopi Goldberg returns

Kurt -For its official arrival in New York City (at least for the entire cast), “Glee” is making sure that they put their best effort into trying to make sure they bring back at least some old faces from the past that will make sense. Thanks to some of the new characters who are present, this includes a certain woman at NYADA who both Kurt and Rachel were judged by back during season 3.

The fifteenth episode of season 5, airing a week from next Tuesday, is entitled “Bash.” Want to read some more about it? Then just take a look at the official synopsis below:

“Rachel takes the next step in committing to her role in ‘Funny Girl.’ Meanwhile, Kurt is the victim of an attack because of his sexual preference.”

The tricky thing about this story for Kurt is that making sure that it doesn’t quite cross over to anything else that has been touched on in regards to Kurt being bullied or mocked in the past. The last thing that you ever want to do on any show is repeat storylines. But, what could make this interesting for Chris Colfer to play is that this is a very adult side to the realities that face him as a gay man in a big city, and that is very different than just being bullied by a guy in Karofsky at McKinley High. It is much easier to punish a guy at high school then someone on the street, who you may not even get that good of a look at while he is beating you up.

Sadly, the synopsis doesn’t say anything about what Whoopi Goldberg’s Carmen will be bringing to the table, and the lack of Adam Lambert being mentioned on here suggests that his time with the show may be over with “New New York.”
