‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: Tom Mison’s Ichabod on an airplane? Count us in

There are many things that excite us quite as much as getting a chance to see Ichabod Crane aboard an airplane. Think of the potential hilarity. Luckily, we do know now that this is very much a possibility for the upcoming second season of “Sleepy Hollow,” at least based on some of the information that is out there right now.

There’s really no need for further introduction as for how this could be one of the greatest moments of the entire season so far (at least when it comes to Ichabod getting used to modern conveniences). We’ll let the following quote per E! News from executive producer Len Wiseman really speak for itself:

“Air travel, he’ll experience for the first time … Imagine Crane on a plane basically thinking it’s a massive truck. It’s got wheels, he doesn’t really know the thing actually picks up and takes off into the air. That’s something he will experience.” 

Sound fun? While we know that this is not something substantial about freeing Abbie from her current prison, or trying to stop the War Horseman otherwise known as his son. However, we still feel like it is yet another reason to be excited about what is coming. The real joy of “Sleepy Hollow” is that this is a series that really balances out those light and funny moments with things that are so much more serious.

Based on what Tom Mison and the rest of the cast had to say at PaleyFest earlier this week, you really do have quite a bit to look forward to. Let’s just hope that all of this makes us so excited that we’re absolutely giddy of every moment that incites the same reaction that the skinny jeans once did.
