‘American Idol XIII’ results: Was Dexter Roberts, MK Nobilette, or Majesty Rose eliminated?
Were there some surprises when it comes to the “American Idol XIII” results tonight? The first thing is that we were surprised that America didn’t exactly respond to the country singer in the same way that they have in the past.
Dexter Roberts was the first person in the bottom three tonight, and he was joined by … Majesty? We don’t understand this one at all. She was really good this week, and deserved a little bit more than what America gave her, especially since you could say that both MK Nobilette and CJ Harris were far worse than her this time.
This does bring us around to the final person in the bottom three tonight: MK Nobilette. CJ lucked out a little bit, since none of the bottom three this week gave the worst performance on the show. But, we would probably send out Dexter, since we haven’t really hard any effort to be original in his performances.
But in the end, this is all about who America’s didn’t love on a given week, and MK’s mistake, and suffering from the ‘Curse of First” where the first person to perform is almost always in trouble, were enough to have her in last place. Also, the judges are still not interested in using the save for the time being. We do think that it will happen eventually … but not yet. There hasn’t been a shock boot, even though we are among the people who feels like MK never really got a chance to show what she was capable of. Grade: B-.

Its kinda sad that instead of seeing who sings the best its more like who sang the worse. Maybe that’s why ratings are in the tank.

Dexter should not be at b3, he should be t3! He is our American idol no matter what the votes say. It must mean something to have fans from Singapore, Malaysia and Canada.
