‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Rachel Bilson and a ‘A Good Run of Bad Luck’
By and large, early April is not a good time to watch The CW unless you really love repeats. The network typically goes on a hiatus then in order to ensure that there is some good news stuff to air in late April, and therefore they can build momentum into the time of the year that really matters the most for them: The May sweeps. That’s when it is pretty much demanded of you to come up with something awesome, or potentially run the risk of everyone jumping ship over the summer to a new show.
One particular program that is being spared from this? “Hart of Dixie.” Thanks to this very-long hiatus the show is on, the premiere Friday is the first of many consecutive episodes leading straight into the finale. We’ve shared scoop on many of the episodes coming up in the immediate future already, and now, we’re shifting to “A Good Run of Bad Luck.” This installment airs on Friday, April 11, and it already looks like it’ll be a good one.
“Zoe (Rachel Bilson) is convinced that she and Lavon (Cress Williams) are cursed and the only way to make things right is to fix the past. When Vivian’s (guest star Lauren Bittner) son (guest star Cole Sand) asks Wade (Wilson Bethel) for some advice, he is happy to help, but not everyone is excited about his methods. After an unplanned encounter, George (Scott Porter) and Lemon (Jaime King) try to avoid each other, but it is more difficult now that they are business partners. Meanwhile, AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black) is getting fed up with one of Brick’s (Tim Matheson) patients, Davis (guest star Barry Watson), until she learns the real reason behind his ailments.”
This episode sounds very interesting, almost as much for what is not mentioned in here just as much as what is. We don’t want to spin speculation the wrong way, so that is all that we will say for now. Let’s just note that with the season coming to a close a few weeks after this, this is around when the writers are really going to have to start to figure out just what direction they want to see many of their key characters head in.
