‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Why the radio silence on Andi Dorfman?

Andy Dorfman -For almost a week now, Andi Dorfman has been hard at work filming some of the early episodes for her season of “The Bachelorette.” However, you wouldn’t quit know that by looking at some of the information that is online.

Typically, we see the folks over at ABC and the show’s own producers relentlessly hyping up everything from the first night to some of the dates. We also hear from time to time about the start of the season making progress in their journey to find love. However, this season has been more than a little bit different … mostly because there has been no communication at all. Everyone is burying their head in the sand.

So what is the reason for all of this secrecy? We’ve put on our detective caps, and tried to come up with at least some theories as to what could be going on here.

1. ABC wants no spoilers – But honestly, we don’t really know how that matters. The people who wants spoilers are going to get them anyway.

2. Producers are busy – This show is an extremely crazy process, with many working almost around the clock to produce something that is great. After two subpar seasons, the producers may be working on making sure there is a better overall product, and not something that viewers will hate.

3. No misconceptions – If there is no tweeting, there is no way in which pre-season hype can be interpreted as anyone feeling that confident about whether or not the season is good. Everyone knew that Juan Pablo’s season was a dud before it aired … but many involved still tried to hype it up.
