TV quick hits: ‘Hannibal’ season 2, Katharine McPhee scoop; ‘Teen Mom’ terror

Hannibal -Gina Torres returns to “Hannibal – The former “Firefly” star sure is busy! Despite having a series-regular role on USA’s “Suits,” Torres was able to shift over from one show that films in Toronto to another for a return appearance to “Hannibal.” She plays the part of Bella Crawford, the wife of Jack (Torres’ real-life husband Laurence Fishburne) on the show.

Unfortunately for Bella, it doesn’t look like she is holding up well in her treatment courtesy of the photo at the bottom of this article (via Yahoo!). Obviously, the actress is staying coy about how many episodes she will appear in, but given her busy schedule, we cannot possibly believe that it will be more than a handful. Her first appearance will come on Friday night’s new episode, which airs on NBC at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Katharine McPhee’s new pilot – Did you feel like McPhee got the shaft with “Smash”? Well, she may be getting a new chance courtesy of the CBS pilot “Scorpion,” which is coming from “Sleepy Hollow” executive producers Alex Kurtzman are Roberto Orci (otherwise known as two of the busiest people in the business). Her character is a sort of caretaker for a group of super-geniuses who are meant to try to take care of the world in the modern age. It’s an intriguing concept for the show, but we really have not seen the evidence yet that Katharine can anchor a successful series once the early hype starts to die down a little bit. Time will tell.

Teen Mom” and a music video – Just because we really feel like tormenting you, take a look at “Blown,” the new music video from Farrah Abraham. The real that we feel like this is interesting? It is basically because the ratio of likes to dislikes on this video is astonishing. Seriously. EVERYONE hates this video.
