‘Psych’ season 8, episode 9 preview: First look at Bruce Campbell!
USA really seems to love Bruce Campbell, and this is very much our gain. While “Burn Notice” may no longer be on the air, the actor is guest-starring on Wednesday night’s penultimate episode of “Psych“.
So what is this role going to be? Think along the lines of the most bumbling dream therapist ever. In an episode that is meant to be an homage-of-sorts to “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” Gus decides to seek out help after suffering from repeated night terrors. Unfortunately, he starts to very quickly get the feeling that he is being misdiagnosed by this guy, who repeatedly tries to come up with different reasons for his dreams. There is a part of him allegedly worried that Shawn is going to leave (which makes sense, given that Juliet has taken up a job elsewhere), and then there is also a part of him that is worried that he is going to eventually get killed running around and trying to solve cases with his pal.
No matter how “Psych” comes to a close, we absolutely cannot imagine it happening without Shawn and Gus living in the same city together. Their bromance-of-sorts is the main reason the show went eight seasons, and we expect them to be front and center throughout the finale.

Anyone who doesn’t love Bruce Campbell either never saw him or is a big fat LIAR. Bruce Campbell is AWESOME! can’t wait for him on Psych! and I’m cherishing the last few eps of Psych. Love the new changes.
