‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3, episode 14 preview: Rapunzel, and Rebecca Mader’s next move

Tonight, “Once Upon a Time” presented up with what was (spoiler alert!) the biggest shocker of the spring season. Even though you may have saw this one coming a mile away, it was still important to note: The Evil Queen has a sister that she never knew about before. Not only that, but this sister was named Zelena, the famed Wicked Witch from the legends of Oz.

Now that you know this, it certainly makes next week’s episode all the more interesting. This episode will feature the return of Rumpelstiltskin, and also hopefully allow for a little bit more insight into why in the world Rebecca Mader’s character wants him around. Is there another connection there? You really cannot rule it out, given that Cora had a history with the character.

Also, get ready for the arrival of Rapunzel! Alexandra Metz plays the character, and all we know about her so far is that she has a story that is tied with Charming’s past. But, the question that you have to wonder is whether or not we are talking about his past before Storybrooke came to exist, or in the year between his departure from the town and his return at the start of this spring season. It is strange that he has not brought her up otherwise before now, given that this seems like one of his most-princely acts to date. Anything that does give this character more backstory is something that we are very much supportive of.
