‘Suits’ season 3, episode 12 preview: A look at the Mike – Louis showdown

There is a war brewing on “Suits,” and it is one that you have seen coming for quite a few months now. It’s been pretty clear that there was no love lost at all between Mike Ross and Louis Litt. They plain don’t like each other, and Louis also has his sense of “integrity” that for some crazy reason, he seems to be extremely desperate to try to preserve.

We are going to see some of that quest for preservation take place on Thursday night’s new episode, and the sneak peek below makes it very clear that Rick Hoffman’s character already has a plan for how he is going to make it through this. He doesn’t want to do anything that could potentially embarrass the firm, but he has no problem putting Mike in a position where he could be found out … if he has the evidence that he needs, then he will try to go forward with the hammer.

This is not a good position for Mike, especially since Louis is a very different threat than any other that he has come across. Unlike Rachel, this is not someone who is sympathetic or is wrestling with other feelings that she has for him. Instead, this is a guy who really could care less about Mike, and is looking for an opportunity to get up on his high horse and be amazing. We’re sure that he will try to make a move here, but the one glorious thing about Mike on “Suits” is that he has such an amazing habit for getting himself out of tough situations.
