‘Arrow’ season 2, episode 15 preview: The most important butt-dial ever?
Wednesday night’s “Arrow” episode, entitled “The Promise,” is already being hyped up as one of the best episodes that the show has ever made across its first two seasons. It is the first time that you will see Slade Wilson meeting up with Oliver Queen in the present, and also the first real opportunity to learn what exactly happened between the two in the past that raised the stakes to the point where Slade would want to murder him and everyone that he loves.
So with all of that explanation behind us … we now turn to a sneak peek below that is really all about Stephen Amell’s character possibly butt-dialing the Arrow-cave with some news that Slade is back, and in the middle of a conversation with Thea. He knew that Sara was back there, and that she would understand the implications of what Slade being in Starling City could be for almost everyone else involved.
Given everything that we have heard, we expect this episode to carry into something so action-packed and story-driven that it is going to last the remainder of this season. Manu Bennett is a series regular, and when you consider that, there is no reason to not believe that he is going to be anything but a huge part of the story the rest of the way. Also, it would be a complete letdown for the show to spend so much time getting these two characters into the present, only to then split them apart so soon.
