‘The Blacklist’ episode 16 preview: James Spader, Ryan Eggold, and drama galore

Just when you started to think that Tom Keen was a loving husband in hipster glasses, the truth is finally starting to come out about this guy … and it’s not good news at all for “Lizzie.”

Nest week’s episode of “The Blacklist” is entitled “Mako Tanida,” and while we know that there are some more standard bad guys to be taken care of, we admittedly really don’t care about that much in comparison to what is going on now with the secret out. Tom is going to spend a ton of time on this episode battling Jolene, and trying to figure out just what he is hoping to do when it comes to his relationship with Liz.

“The next target on the Blacklist is one of Red’s (James Spader) past associates, crime lord Mako Tanida (guest star Hoon Lee). After Tanida escapes from prison he is out for revenge. Elsewhere, Tom (Ryan Eggold) confronts Jolene (guest star Rachel Brosnahan) after interfering with his mission.”

Will this be the episode that the true nature of Tom’s mission is actually revealed? We genuinely hope so, since the only thing that we really know about him for right now is that, based on this promo, he has been working at this for two years, and not always with the greatest amount of communication from the other parties. That has to be pretty frustrating for him to deal with, but we’re must more interested in finding out what Liz’s reaction is going to be when she learns the truth.
