Could ‘Bachelor Pad’ return this summer? It’s possible

Bachelor Pad -Could there actually be another season of “Bachelor Pad” at some point in the future? When this show was first canceled by ABC, it felt like it was mostly just not the sort of thing that meshed well with some of the network’s other family-friendly entertainment. There are some great train-wreck moments from this show, but it often felt so sleazy that it was hard to watch at times. The show is basically an excuse for reality TV fanatics to get together in a house and make out with each other under the guise of a competition. Occasionally, there are people who do find real relationships … and then there are the others.

Well, at least one person is not ruling out the possibility that the pad could return in the future now with a new crop of women in the cast. In a post on Twitter, creator Mike Fleiss said that there “could be” another season of the show coming up after it took a little bit of time off. What would be the benefits of bringing it back? We can see a few:

1. Easy ratings – There’s not that much in the way of new programming in the summer, and it’s ultimately thanks to that the show could come back and thrive. They already have a house to shoot it in, and cast members who are probably eager for some more TV time.

2. Drama – There’s always the possibility of something so crazy that happens that the tabloids all pick up the story and run with it like it is one of the craziest things that we’ve ever seen.

3. More cast members – There is now a crop of people from Sean Lowe and Juan Pablo Galavis’ “Bachelor” seasons that can be used, along with Desiree Hartsock and the upcoming “Bachelorette” season. There are enough memorable contestants who are still single.
