‘American Idol XIII’ results preview: Are CJ Harris, Kristen O’Connor on the outs?

Kristen -There are some elimination episodes for “American Idol XIII” that we do expect to be very much shocked, but the one coming on Fox tonight is probably not going to be one of them. We already know the three artists who have been in danger before on the show, and needed the judges to get this far. In addition to that, we also know the quality of all the performances from last night.

Is this results show a foregone conclusion? There is about 85% of us that feels like we are going to be seeing Kristen O’Connor head out the door tonight, mostly because she went early in the show, hasn’t received a whole lot of airtime, needed the judges’ help previously, and also gave a performance of “Beautiful Disaster” that was not heavily praised by the judges. These are all factors that someone who leaves at this point tend to be a victim of.

However, we’re still not ruling out a shocker at some point in here. CJ Harris gave a solid performance a little later in the show, but we could see him easily being forgotten about; plus, he also was in danger previously. We’d probably say that there is around an 8% chance he is in serious danger tonight, and then the remaining 7% goes to everyone else who is still a part of this season. Sometimes, shockers do happen … even though the results here do seem to be pretty obvious.

This season is a competition that really could get interesting just next week, if the surviving singer comes out and kills it. There is a lot of good talent that is left, and while we personally believe that Sam Woolf, Majesty Rose, and Alex Kingston are probably the three favorites by a pretty wide margin, we have seen some crazier things happen over the years.
