‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 21 video: Reflection for Lucy Hale’s Aria
There is a reason that some people choose to not look back so carefully at the past; often, there are too many things that they would prefer to forget. This is something that Lucy Hale’s character of Aria is going to run into on Sunday night’s new “Pretty Little Liars,” as she thinks back at what was at one point one of the most popular scenes from the show’s pilot.
What is she talking about here specifically? Think along the lines of that first meeting between Aria and Ezra, where she pretended to be older than she was, and he seemed to be nothing more than a college graduate getting ready to start a teaching gig in Rosewood. It’s now been revealed that they were both lying, and he was at least at first using her only to get more information on Alison and to get wrapped up in that world. All of it was carefully orchestrated … and as she looks back on it, she immediately feels the urge to vomit.
There is one thing that is to us always interesting about watching these sort of scenes, and that is getting the opportunity to really see just how much some people have changed over times. Sometimes, this change may just feel minimal when you are just watching this show and seeing the characters change over time; then, you go back and watch a flashback to see just how different they truly are … especially when it comes to emotions. Just think about how much more trusting Aria was back then versus the person that she is now … especially in the wake of what happened with Ezra on this past episode.
We are very interested to see how this unfolds in the end, especially since so far, what we have really come to know about all of this situation is that Aria will destroy a ton of Ezra’s stuff. It looks fun, but there’s not much else to go on for now.
