‘Call the Midwife’ season 3, episode 6 preview: Watch a Trixie-centered sneak peek

The sad news for Sunday night’s “Call the Midwife” season 3 episode? It doesn’t see to be one that features a whole lot of Jenny, unless they plan on surprising us when the episode actually airs.

As for the good news, let’s just say that there could still be some interesting stories still to come. In the sneak peek below, you can see Trixie attempt to find some common ground with a young woman who tries to find a common ground with a woman who has clearly been through a  lot. She went through an emotional / romantic journey with a man who was never really accepted by those she loved, and she was viewed as shaming her family thanks to not being married at the time in which she got pregnant.

Obviously, there is a certain part of this series that is strictly all about making sure that the children are delivered successfully, and without and problems at all. However, we like to view this show just as much as one all about how these mothers can move forward after birth and be supportive mothers. That is what we personally see this as a story a little bit more about, and that is what we are especially intrigued to see play out the rest of the way.

As for whether or not this story matters in the long-term, we are hesitant to say so thanks mostly to everything that we have seen from the show already this season. Most of the episodes that we have encountered are strictly of the standalone variety.
