‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 4 spoilers: More on Jorge Garcia’s return!

Who doesn’t love a guest spot from Jorge Garcia? We’re certainly happy to see him again on “Hawaii Five-0,” and we have at least a few details about the episode that is going to feature him a little later this season.

Let’s start with both the air date and the title: Friday, March 7, and then “Hōkū Welowelo” (otherwise known as “Fire in the Sky”). This is an episode that will also feature another appearance from Melanie Griffith as Danny’s mom, and she will be pretty involved in the story … at least based on the synopsis that was just released by CBS. Unfortunately, Garcia’s Jerry Ortega is not actually mentioned in this description itself:

“Five-0 investigates a triple homicide connected to a downed top-secret Chinese satellite, while Grover takes Danny’s mother on a ride-along.”

This is going to be the second episode of “Hawaii Five-0” on the air following the show’s Olympic hiatus, which it will still be on sadly as of Friday night. It has been a long wait for so many of these shows to come back on, but then again, we also understand it. The last thing that the networks want to really do is drive their shows’ ratings into the ground, and trying to put anything on against the games, especially on a Friday night, is a pretty surefire way to do just that.

There are some pretty cool things happening on this particular series even beyond this episode, including that whole “Fan-built Five-0” installment. We’ll hopefully have some more information to share on that very soon.
