ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 16 preview: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, and ‘Room 147’
Sometimes on “Castle,” the murder in question has some sort of larger theme that is by and large hilarious. Then, on other occasions the theme is more about the overall mystery itself. This seems to be some of what we are ultimately running into now when it comes to “Room 147,” the episode of the show that is airing next week. There’s no outlandish premise or conspiracy … as a matter of fact, this case is so complicated that Rick doesn’t even have a theory as to how to solve it!
Before we do anything else, let’s just start things off with the official synopsis for this one, which comes to us via ABC:
“When a guilt-ridden young woman confesses to the murder of a struggling actor — knowing details only the killer could know — Beckett and Castle seem to have an open-and-shut case, until they uncover proof that their suspect couldn’t possibly be the killer. When a second person confesses, equally convinced they committed the murder, the team realizes the case is far more mysterious than they thought.”
Excited about this one already? We definitely are, if for no other reason than that we very much appreciate a solid mystery, even if it is one that has no connection to any other story. This has the potential to be very fun, but also very dramatic, depending on how you look at it. After all, there has to be a reason why so many of these people are confessing, and there could be a larger villain at play.
