ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 15: What is Castle, Beckett’s song? Andrew Belle’s ‘In My Veins’
At the end of Monday night’s “Castle” episode, you had an opportunity to have a long-desired question answered (at least for this episode): What in the world was the song that Castle and Beckett were going to claim as their own? They needed a song that they would dance to at their wedding, especially since they were getting to the point now where they had to decide as to whether or not they wanted to have a band or a DJ playing for this big occasion.
They may not have worked out the DJ/Band debate just yet but we can tell you that the song at the end of the episode was Andrew Belle’s “In My Veins.” It is kind of interesting in a way that both Rick and Kate each say that they love this song, given that it is a pretty recent track from 2010.It does seem perfect for the two of them, though, and Belle is surely going to love the attention that this song is going to get over the coming weeks thanks to the show. (It’s also got great continuity on the show already.)
Now, we just have to wait and see if it will be played again at the wedding … whenever that happens. So far, the show has set it up so that the two characters will be tying the knot around the time that the May sweeps conveniently roll around, but if there is one thing that we have learned, it’s that these sort of dates have a reputation for often changing. This would be nice in that it would put a little bookend (book pun intended on this season, and set up where we are going to go with the series next.)

The song really encompasses Beckett’s long journey to realize all she ever really wanted and needed was Castle. He was in her veins and she in his, and no matter what happened, that would never change. Yes, that is their song along with ‘I just want you. ‘
