‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5: Kat Graham on future of music career
When you consider just how immersing being on “The Vampire Diaries” can be, it is sometimes a huge surprise that you really have the time to do anything else. After all, some of the stuff that you are dealing with typically includes the likes of late-night filming, table reads, interviews, public appearances, and even more little stuff that we cannot put into the scope of this one article. So to see anyone on this show find a way to do more is astounding.
When it comes to Kat Graham, we have especially seen time and time again just how committed that she is to a music career, even alongside her work as Bonnie Bennett in just about every episode. There also seems to be more in the way of new stuff in 2014, at least courtesy of what she told Billboard in a recent interview at New York Fashion Week:
“Moving to Interscope has been such a great dream come true for me … I’m excited to go into 2014 with these new records and a cooler edge in that lane. My single ‘Power’ was a great place to leave off in the summer. I’m ready to reveal who I am truly as a beatmaker, an engineer, writer and artist.”
So when will she have time to dive into recording? We’re sure that she can fit in little windows here and there to do more recording, but her undivided attention comes more in the latest spring and early summer. (We figure, though, that you will be hearing far more about what lies ahead before then.)
