‘The X Factor’ USA: Are Alex & Sierra working with Jason Mraz?
If you have followed Alex & Sierra on Twitter, or heard them do interviews, or really seen them in just about any medium ever, there is one thing that you are probably going to figure out pretty quickly: They are rather big fans of Jason Mraz. Namely, they may be some of his biggest fans ever, and we say that as someone who has seen the “Life Is Wonderful” / “I Won’t Give Up” singer live and listened to all of his albums on repeat numerous times.
So to get the opportunity to meet him, let alone work with him, has to feel pretty surreal. The two had actually met him a few weeks ago, but according to information both on their own account and elsewhere, they had a chance to work with both Jason and Michael Natter this weekend. Natter has worked on some of Jason’s music over the years, including “I Won’t Give Up.”
Alex basically summed up the experience in a post on his Twitter, and it’s pretty easy to figure out what he is talking about:
“Best… Day… Ever….”
Given the knowledge that Alex & Sierra have also worked with John Legend on their upcoming album, it’s fair to say that they are really assembling quite the impressive crew for an act that only won the final season of “The X Factor” a mere matter of months ago.
This has turned out to be a very busy past few days for Alex & Sierra, in general, given that they recently attended a concert featuring fellow “X Factor” contestants Little Mix and Fifth Harmony as performers in Anaheim prior to traveling to San Diego for the weekend.
