TV quick hits: ‘Hannibal’ season 2 photo, ‘Bates Motel,’ ‘Veep,’ ‘Saint George’ teasers
Let’s hope that you love little teases related to some of your favorite shows, since this Saturday edition of TV quick hits has them for you from start to finish.
“Hannibal” – Have times changed for Will Graham since the finale of season 1? Hardly, as the photo from the show’s upcoming February 28 premiere shows. Hugh Dancy’s character looks like he has been through a lot, and that is no exaggeration at all: The man clearly has. He has to find a way to clear his own name, and make everyone else realize that Lecter is the real enemy … and that is not going to be easy. The good news? It should be a heck of a great time for us to watch.
“Veep” – The tiny new teaser below for HBO’s silly political show is sure to bring a smile to your face, especially if you love the image of a strong, powerful leader in office completely destroyed by something silly. In just the span of a few short seconds, Julia Louis-Dreyfus will remind you again why she has all those nominations.
“Bates Motel” – This has to be one of the best promos yet for the A&E series’ return to TV on March 3. It’s incredibly creepy, and focuses entire on a “dream” of happy times that are never really going to be there. What’s in their place instead? Think blood, sadness, and lots of it.
“Saint George” – Finally, take a quick look below at George Lopez’s new FX comedy premiering on March 6. This show is operating under the same model as “Anger Management,” where it will get a 90-episode pickup in the event that the ratings for the first ten are high enough. (The network has not unveiled what that threshold is.)
