‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 19 preview: What are Mona and Ezra up to?
Tuesday night’s “Pretty Little Liars” episode carries with it the title of “Shadow Play,” and one of the various interpretations of the title (beyond just the black-and-white theme) is that we could be looking at a number of different characters who are choosing, for one reason or another, to hide in the shadows.
Do we get it? To an extent, sure. Nobody really knows just yet where everyone else stands, whether you are talking about even some of the Liars. But of course, Mona is someone who is constantly at the top of everyone’s list of possible suspects for weird activity, mostly because she has such a weird history of engaging in this sort of thing already.
We see in the sneak peek below (from one of the few parts of this episode where everything is in color) the likes of Hanna, Spencer, and Emily try to figure out why exactly Mona is sneaking around the office of a certain Ezra Fitz. She receives some documents, and then goes about her merry way. Is she delivering something for him, or acting out of her own desire to try to stop him in a way that nobody else can? That is something that we are going to have to come to know. She’s got a lot of work to do to even show to the other ladies that she is worth even just a tiny iota of their trust, after all.
