‘The Tomorrow People’ episode 14 preview: When will Robbie Amell’s series return?
After a few episodes of “The Tomorrow People” that contained a pretty hefty dose of shockers, the show is going to take a minute or two now to try to catch its breath (and also maybe brush off some of the dust caused from that shootout). The Sochi Olympics, and also The CW’s desire to spread out the episodes most of the season, is going to lead to there not being any more new installments of the show until Wednesday, February 26.
What we can tell you about this big episode for the time being is as follows:
1. The first episode back for the show will be entitled “Brother’s Keeper,” which seems to us right now like a pretty clever little way to hide what the story was really going to be about. We know now that it is actually none other than Stephen’s mother who has the powers, and not him in the slightest.
2. Also, there will be some more violence and action that you are going to see right away. With John gone from the Tomorrow People headquarters, Stephen could have more of a role. Not only that, but he has to figure out where his mom stands in all of this.
There is still a good nine episodes left this season, and thanks to that, you have to believe that the shocker we had tonight is not even going to be the biggest one.

I think the title of the episode, My Brother’s Keeper, refers to Jedikiah not Stephen. Jedikiah has been keeping his “in limbo” brother, Roger, somewhere since he was shot. There have been hints more than once. He even tried to tell John once that he had not killed him, but John was too upset with Jedikiah to listen and shot the wall out behind Jedikiah (he couldn’t quite bring himself to kill him) before Ultra agent showed up and took John away. Jedikiah is going to “show” Stephen where his father is. (In the promo he takes Stephen’s hand and Stephen telepathically sees his father in some type of case.) The deal that Jedikiah and Stephen make will have something to do with his father. There is more to Jedikiah than we’ve been privy to so far. It will be interesting to see where this goes.
BTW, I don’t think the mother being the one to have powers was really much of a shocker. When Stephen said in the previous episode that his brother was breaking out, I was pretty sure that was misdirection and it was really the mother. It was even more obvious when John explained that a synergist was someone who had tomorrow people for both parents. Now we know why Jedikiah and the founder were so interested in Stephen and why they have special plans for him. One or both of them knew about the mother and knew if/when Stephen broke out, he would be a synergist.
Anyway, looking forward to the next episode.

I disagree i don’t think anyone knew that marla had powers if they did she wouldn’t be able to just live her life. I think the interest in stephen is because of the power his father had as for jerika i think that roger and jedika had a plan to take down ultra it did seem clear when roger was taking to john when he was a kid that he knew that he wasn’t going to be around. Jerika also left hints that he wasn’t completly loyal to ultra like when he told stephen that he had no idea what he has done to protect him. As for marla she clearly knows the founder so i think her history could go back before she married roger i don’t think he knew she had powers just by some of his comments.
I also wonder where this leaves astrid since ultra is still trying to kill her since john is out of the liar i am guessing maybe she is involved in johns story because i can’t see ultra just stopping
