Yes, the Puppy Bowl is by and large an event all about puppies, but, at the same time, we are here to discuss something else that has become a massive part of the tradition of the game over the years: The halftime show! This event features cats (as per the typical tradition), but there is also a cat at the center it who is more famous than most.

Are you familiar with Keyboard Cat? This YouTube star is rocking out the show at halftime, and in the video below, you can see how they rehearsed for the big occasion this afternoon. There is some fun in here, and also a moment or two that you will laugh.

If you have seen Keyboard Cat before, then the most disappointing part of this video to you may just be that there is nothing in here that will come across as particularly new. But, this does serve as the most high-production performance for the cat yet, which we put as #2 behind only Grumpy Cat as the most popular internet feline out there.

So how big of an audience will Keyboard Cat have performed for this year? This event typically draws massive viewers for Animal Planet, and with the network putting it on before the pre-game festivities really get going, there may be another opportunity here to draw big numbers again. We don’t ultimately see any reason why viewers would start to suddenly stop watching now, given that they have been hooked for years.
