‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ preview: Carlton Gebbia, hexes, Kyle Richards, and more

While “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” may at the moment be dealing with some pretty awful drama right now that is not the sort of thing we want to see from this silly franchise, its Beverly Hills counterpart is giving us almost exactly what we want after having to spend a few weeks suffering through the Brandi Glanville – Joyce Giraud quagmire: Pure insanity. Who doesn’t love a fight about whether or not Carlton Gebbia put a hex on someone?

While Atlanta is going to be off the air Sunday thanks to the Super Bowl, there’s no need to worry about the Beverly Hills show. It’ll be back once again with more Monday, and based on the official synopsis from Bravo, it’s going to be a wacky one:

“Joyce confronts Carlton about potentially putting a spell on Joyce’s husband — which Carlton vehemently denies. Lisa and Kyle plan a joint birthday party for their husbands, but the party devolves into drama when Carlton brings up the ways in which Kyle has offended her.”

As for more proof of that, the promo below features men taking their clothes off, serious accusations, and Carlton and Kyle Richards managing to find a way to ruin what could have been a good night for the ladies. The part of our brain that loves to be mischievous just wonders sometimes if the ladies have a trigger to try to mess things up when they are going perfect. They are all self-aware enough to know that drama sells on this show, and they have no problem with providing it.
