‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: More casting intel for Rose McGowan’s return
You may know already that Rose McGowan is returning to “Once Upon a Time” later this season as the younger version of Cora, but what we are hearing right now is that there are some more important characters being brought back in a different form than you’ve previously seen them.
For example, get ready to see a younger version of King Leopold! According to TVLine, casting is underway for the character, who is described as humble and very interested in opening his heart for the right person. This is a nice little gig for any actor to land, mostly because there are always possibilities that they will be hired again for another episode in the future, given how much the show likes to move around in time from one era to the next. (Plus, Leopold will at one point be the father to Snow White.)
Overall, there just seems to be plenty to be excited about for “Once Upon a Time” the rest of the way this season. You have a number of memorable characters who are all going to make their presence felt, and with the mystery out there about whether or not Storybrooke will ever return and if Emma Swan will realize who she really is, there’s quite a bit going on. The one thing that we do find somewhat-ironic at the moment is that both Emma and Emily Thorne on “Revenge” both have shows airing on Sunday nights, and are suffering through their own identity crises.
