‘Supernatural’ season 9 spoilers: Jensen Ackles, DJ Qualls, and a ‘Sharp Teeth’ tease

If you are looking to catch some new TV programming tomorrow night, there is really not that much out there when it comes to options. Thanks to the State of the Union Address, most of the major networks are going to be in repeats.

Luckily, this is where The CW comes into play if you are not that interested in the address, or if you would prefer to just read the important parts of it later. There is a new “Supernatural” season 9 episode airing in “Sharp Teeth,” and it should be a fun one for you if you’re a Garth fan. You will find out just where the character (played by DJ Qualls) has been since you last saw him … and also the surprising company that he now keeps.

Just in case Garth looks a little bit defensive in the photo above alongside Jensen Ackles’s Dean, there is a good reason for that. Dean is pretty demanding when it comes to find out his whereabouts, mostly because Dean is still trying in a way to deal with the death of Kevin. This is something that is going to linger with him for a while; while there have been many characters who have died on the show over the years, the list is decreased significantly when you talk about about characters who were not only significant to the show, but also ones where Dean feels in a way responsible for what happened to them.

As for what this story will do for pushing forward the story with Crowley searching for a way to destroy Abaddon, there is no word on that. At worst, this episode could fit into the category of “nice little diversion.”
