‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2, episode 10 review: Who did Cat kiss?

Have you been eagerly looking forward to “Beauty and the Beast” tonight? Well, this was a very big episode, and one that showed us that Cat is very capable of moving on with her life.

First of all, though, who saw the cameo from Julie Chen and Sharon Osbourne coming? It was “The Talk,” minus the other three people who were probably not available. That’s a real shame, mostly because Aisha Tyler could have added so much fun to this whole proceeding than what we actually had an opportunity to see. Vincent realized through this that while being a public figure would have been a cool idea in theory, it was not quite so great when he realized that he was having to more or less lie about anything and everything.

When it comes to Cat investigating other things, we’ll be honest here: It’s not really all that interesting. The biggest thing that came out of most of it was learning that the origins of the beast extend far beyond Muirfield, which does at least suggest that this is something that we’ll be seeing quite a bit more of in the weeks ahead.

As for Vincent’s own life, let’s just say that it is tricky. While he realizes that he and Tori have a special connection, and one that is further solidified by the fact that there are quite possibly the only two beasts remaining in the world. However, at the same time he realizes that there are some feelings there for Vincent … and doesn’t that make things just a little bit awkward?

We wonder just how Vincent is going to feel now about the fact that Cat and Gabe have kissed. That’s not a dive into a relationship just yet, but you probably did see it coming. We don’t hate this couple … but let’s be honest. Isn’t this more along the lines of yet another roadblock for our star-crossed lovers? We shall see, since the end of the episode had a sense of destiny to it … like Cat and Vincent were meant to be involved with each other in some way. Grade: B-.
