ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 13: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, and ‘Limelight’ hints

Over the course of this season of “Castle,” it has become tradition for us to come on here the day of a new episode and dish out six little scoops all about what you can expect. “Limelight” is an episode that has potential to be a great one. There is a certain “ripped-from-the-headlines” quality to it, and there is also a notable guest star in Alexandra Chando from “The Lying Game.”

What may be more important in the end here is that most of this story really deals with fame, including whether or not it is something that Beckett is going to be able to handle. As a condition of her relationship with Castle, she has to deal with some facets of superstar culture that are not the sort of stuff that she traditionally deals with. With that in mind, let’s now dive into giving you the six pieces of scoop.

1. It is the media that really starts to cause problems for Beckett when it comes to her fiance’s level of fame more so than any one thing that he does.

2. Remember Jackson? Well, he’ll be much more of an afterthought this week, which is just another sign of how much a procedural cannot really rely on things that happened the previous week.

3. This episode serves in some ways as a crash-course in celebrity culture, including the revelation to Beckett that sometimes, withholding knowledge is power.

4. The public nature of this case, which involves Chando’s character of a young Miley Cyrus type, causes the NYPD to have to take different measures to keep the information safe.

5. Beckett will leave this episode with a much greater understanding about her life with Rick than she did going in.

6. This one is more of a teaser at everything beyond this episode: There will be wedding talk, but some of the good stuff will be saved for “Dressed to Kill,” which airs next week.

What do you think is going to happen in this episode, and do you think that there is any way that Beckett ever gets used to this whole celebrity world? Share below!
