TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 3 spoilers: First details on premiere, ‘The Return’

Are you ready to dive into the world of “Dallas” again? We hope so, since you’re going to get an opportunity to do just that with “The Return.” This February 24 premiere date is coming up soon, and we at least have a few more details now about what you can expect. There is going to be wedding planning, plenty of fighting, mysteries, new characters, and so much more. Rather than taking the time to actually build into an  compelling story, producers are going to try to get things going into full gear as quickly as humanly possible.

So with that in mind, let’s start things off here by teasing the first synopsis for the premiere, which comes to us via SpoilerTV:

“Sue Ellen plans a wedding for John Ross and Pamela; John Ross and Bobby dispute over their joint ownership of Southfork Ranch; Elena returns to Dallas with a secret agenda; a mysterious stranger arrives.”

By the end of this episode, you’re going to have a little bit of a better opportunity to know where everyone stands, and also if there is going to be any new surprises when it comes to romance, or scandals. This is a season that could be even juicier and darker than the ones that came before it … and given the competition that there is on TV these days (especially in the scripted world), it certainly needs it. It’s harder for a show like this to push the envelope than it was at the time the original one came out.
